Changelog

What's new in Jack.

New features, fixes, and everything in between.

  1. New

    Resume maker

Keep one profile, get a tailored resume for every job, and download it as a PDF.

Jack now writes resumes, too. Fill in a job profile once (your details, experience, education, and skills), then create a resume for each job you apply to.

    • Paste the job description and pick one of six templates: Classic, Modern, Compact, Executive, Technical, or Plain. All are single-column and readable by applicant tracking systems.
    • Tailor with AI. Jack rewrites your summary and highlights for that job and picks the most relevant skills. It never invents facts: names, employers, titles, and dates stay exactly as you wrote them.
    • Compare with the original to see what changed, edit anything by hand, or switch templates at any time.
    • Download a PDF, with a file name that's ready to send.

Resumes keep their own copy of your profile, so later profile edits never change a resume you've already sent.

  2. Improved

    A calmer, cleaner Jack

A new minimal look, a live status indicator, and adjustable answer text.

We redesigned Jack from the ground up to feel quieter during the calls that matter.

    • New look. Neutral greys, one indigo accent, hairline borders, and light and dark themes that follow your system.
    • Live status. A small pulsing indicator shows when Jack is idle, connecting, or listening.
    • Adjustable text size. Settings now let you set the answer font size separately for the main window and the floating window, and Jack remembers it.
    • Numbered answers. Answers are labelled and easier to browse with the arrow keys.
